Model-driven transformation
We read every line of your application and build a model of its screens, data, and business rules before any of the new system is generated. The model is the source of truth, not documents or what people remember.
Since 2004, Vivify Technologies and the team it came from have transformed business-critical systems built on PowerBuilder, VB6, COBOL, Nexaweb and legacy web stacks into standard applications their teams own outright.
A working legacy application encodes decades of business rules, edge cases, and hard-won operational knowledge. Rewriting it by hand throws that knowledge away and forces a new team to rediscover it in production. We built Vivify around a different idea: carry the knowledge across, automatically, and modernize the technology underneath it.
That conviction shaped our model-driven transformation technology, and it is why enterprises and system integrators have trusted us with core systems in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, financial services, and the public sector.
Vivify was founded in 2014 as a spinoff from Nexaweb Technologies, whose team had completed over 200 enterprise modernization projects since 2004. When Nexaweb was acquired by Tobesoft, the modernization technology and the people who built it carried on in Vivify. That is why the project count runs from 2004 and the company dates from 2014: the same practice and many of the same engineers, independent ever since, across the US and Japan.
Vivify Technologies is a brand of Fluxweave.

90%+ of the transformation is automated, which cuts the timeline without cutting corners. AI speeds up the engineering around that: the remaining custom work, the tests, and the checks that old and new behave the same.
The result is conventional TypeScript / React, or Vue and similar frameworks where your standards call for it. No proprietary runtime, no black box. Your team can maintain it, extend it, and take it anywhere.
Our architects and project leads work from the US and Japan. Our deepest roots are in the Japanese market, where quality standards are exacting and where Vivify Japan has grown through relationship-led partnerships with leading system integrators. That is a demanding standard, and we hold every project to it wherever it runs.
We are now extending the same partner model to system integrators and consultancies in the Gulf, Southeast Asia, and the UK. See Partner With Us.

Vivify Technologies is a legacy-modernization specialist. We convert business-critical legacy applications, including PowerBuilder, VB6, COBOL, Nexaweb, and older web systems, into a modern web application that your team owns, with more than 90% of the conversion automated.
No. Vivify Japan (vivifyjapan.com) is a separate company based in Japan that runs its own sales there. Vivify Technologies is a brand of Fluxweave and provides the engineering and delivery behind that work, using the same model-driven approach.
PowerBuilder, VB6, COBOL, and Nexaweb are where we have the deepest public track record. The approach is model-driven and source-language flexible, so it also applies to other legacy languages and frameworks. If your system is not on the list, ask us about it.
A hand rewrite works your business rules out again from documentation and memory, which is slow and where undocumented behavior gets lost. We read the actual source code into a model and carry those rules across automatically, then our people handle the architecture, the parts with no modern equivalent, and the testing that confirms old and new behave the same.

We run our Code Analyzer across your source code and give you a dependency map, risk scoring, an effort model and a costed migration plan. It costs nothing and the plan is yours to keep.
